week 1, sunday

[ another sunday, another pc

but steph walks into the kitchen because she is ready to make stress waffles. hello. ]

... hey Ash.

[ time to start meeting more often. still, here's ash. he's just drinking coffee because it's time for poor life decisions and lots of caffeine. ]

You feel as crap as I do, or am I just special?

[ she just. rubs her temple. ]

[ he sounds almost fakely cheerful -- which, y'know, is exactly what he's being. ]

You can just say it straight: we fucked up, and everything's a mess.

You know, we have been acting like the fact that we've done this before as an advantage, but... I think it's probably hurting us, too.

WEEK 2 - Wednesday

[ well here's ash. he hasn't been to the stables yet, so he might as well have a look around.

he's leaning into one of the stalls, running a hand over the nose of one of the horses as it munches away at some food, and tbh he seems pretty relaxed. ]

[ the hurse.....

but stephanie chooses that time to look in here. she doesn't pause when she sees ash already here, and instead just marches over to him and the horse. ]

[ does he have the lil machine thing with him........ she only watched that whole conversation go down after the faq went up ]

[ he always has the little machine thing with him, but he's petting a horse and not looking at it. so. ]

she slowly walks over to him ]

week 3, thursday, literally the hour before they knock the heck out

[ what up fam we're assuming steph is hiding awkwardly in a corner, but she can't escape from ash, who is wandering over with two mugs in one hand and a plate of something in the other.

honestly, seeing that ash was also here sent alarm bells, but it's less about trying to avoid him and just that terrible guilt. ]

... hi.

[voidbreaker]

[ ash sits himself down in front of her, and sets the plate and the mugs down -- the mugs have what looks like cocoa in, and i wasn't kidding about him making food, there's some croquettes on there all piping hot and crispy looking. yum.

please use the napkins or appropriately provided utensils to eat this so ash doesn't have to explain why steph's hands and mouth are burned at trial tomorrow.

[ and then he reaches out and flicks her in the forehead. but like. not harshly. ]

[ she suddenly has two mouths later

but she wasn't expecting the flick, so she blinks in surprise. ]

ash just takes a sip of his own drink. ]

week 5, tuesday

[ steph is slowly trying to hop away

from the thingamajigs ]

[ why indeed.

luckily ash has two legs and good aim so he just

appears, seemingly out of nowhere, and boots one of them off into the distance. ]

[vigilantics]

[ she watches it soar ]
