ash is just sat at one of the tables, picking books up from a giant pile, flicking through them and sorting them into what looks like three smaller piles in front of him. this is all good. ]

Whether or not that's... to your taste, [ gross ] it's hardly valuable literature. Books on magic or astronomy or things like that... those are different story.

Not just soft-core pornography, Bril. Any book, any topic. It's usually worth the time to read it - even if it's just for you to realise that's not the genre you want to read.

It was the first I've heard of it. [ certain people never tell her anything. ] They said it was meant to protect them from a critical wound. So my understanding was that, without it, there was a good chance that Babo Kim would have died fighting her.

They said it was a reward for finishing those tasks we were given a few weeks ago. That's where my knife came from, too, but if it has any qualities like that, I haven't been told of them.

If there's another chance like that you should try to participate. It's worth it for something so valuable.
