As long as there's someone else to vote for's the sticking point. Otherwise I'd be thrown to the wolves. [ maybe that's what they did today, who knows. ]
Not sure. It might be handy to break in somewhere else, if we need to. You could use your pain power as a trap, in a worst case scenario. Can't really do that with an explosion.
I could, but only you and Lili will know to look for it. And even if I do use it, it'll be gone by trial, so they could pass it off as a curfew effect. I think it's better to rely on the insignia power in my case, to mark them.
An explosion... might be good to keep in reserve. It could damage too much, if you're breaking into a building, or hurt whoever you're with. But if this game has to end with another fight, it could be useful to have on hand - like my meteors were.
Explosions are definitely a bit of overkill, but... if you burned someone attacking you they might have a harder time explaining that away than they would a bruise or a cut.
... All I can think of is using the watch and my power to move the cabin of whoever attacked me. It's not exactly subtle, or specific, but it'd narrow things down. [ and he's petty enough to consider moving their whole cabin into the lake as valid. ]
You could guarantee it'd centre on something, but that something'd be a person. And they'd notice.
[ ... ] Haven't used it yet, but it specifically says "temporarily ignore the limits of their own body to accomplish great feats". So, yeah. Probably can. Doesn't say I might not feel the effects afterwards, but I could probably still do it.
[ flexes. welcome to the gun show, kara. ]
I've got... assuming I'm using two extra boosts along with it? Fifteen minutes of being very fast to move it. Might depend on which cabin I have to move though -- some of them I could probably move down by the lake, but others are far enough away so I might just have to move it into the surrounding woodland.
If nothing else, you could use it on the terrain - collapse a building on someone, or the trees, or destroy the land so it's harder to follow you.
[ like... there are options. ]
That's something you probably should test - after the execution, far enough away from anyone you don't trust so you don't give it away. Maybe in the woods? [ kara shrugs. ] You should know if there will be any side effects, just in case you do end up having to use it.
Yeah. It's the timing -- not doing it too soon so I'm wrecked if I wake up on Thursday night, and not accidentally overlapping into the next week.
[ hm. ]
I can use the power fine, and I have plenty of ideas of what to do with strength. It's more... how I can also leave behind a clue. I'll figure something out.
Is it worth carrying them just in case? You'd kinda hope you wouldn't find someone you trusted enough to share team info with trying to kill you buuut...

...We could try it, if you want. Lili won't mind, as long as we tell her or bring her along.
[ but anyway ]
It'll cause someone pain for twenty-four hours. The only use I can think of for it is a distraction.

I'd be up for that. She'd probably wanna come along, yeah? [ makes sense the first time should be all of them, right? ]
Mine's a heat seeking missile, basically.

Yours sounds more useful. [ . . . ] But what's a missile?
no subject
Projectile weapon. You fire it like a gun, but the damage it does is... more explosive than localised.
no subject
...Definitely more useful than mine, then. [ damn. ] Between that and the watch, it would be easy to take care of anyone coming after you.
no subject
Obvious though. If I leave behind a burning crater, someone's gonna know it was me.
no subject
Yeah. Though if it's a self-defense kill, no one would fault you for it, so long as there's someone else to vote for.
...Do you have any other plans for it, then?

[ ...that makes kara pause, though, surprised. ]
Your power makes you that strong? To be able to move the entire building? [ that's - hm. very attractive.
hm. ]
How far could you move it? No one will notice if it's just a few inches, maybe not even a few feet.

...Lili and I talked about using the glowsticks in the store as a team marker, at least, but that only works if we know the person's team.

The rope bracelet is pretty useful. And you could've got an umbrella.
