The Princess kinda pitched the idea yesterday. Or, more accurately she asked if I’m part of the package deal with Akira. [ haha. ] Maybe we should form our own alliance and I can tell her I’m part of the package deal with you instead.

...In the end, it probably is. Winter insists that if we tell everyone, we're at risk. Even if we pace it out like Lili says, that would mean that eventually everyone would know. So it's best to keep that information to the few you trust the most, if it's shared with anyone.

Otherwise... [ he shrugs. ] One or two shouldn't make a difference. Lili already knows my affiliation, and so did Tsuru. But since he's been broken, he probably won't count against me anymore. So if you want to know, I don't mind saying.

It's part of it, at least. Winter is afraid of what will happen if they push the boundaries too far - that they'll get hurt, or someone else will. Purple might be more willing to try, but I'm sure they'll have their limits, too. And Shadow never said enough to be useful in the first place, so I doubt they'll push it, either.

Purple seems constantly exasperated when he's not publicly flirting. [ or maybe that's just the ash effect. ]

I'm not saying they don't have their own issues. But I'm not into the whole "feeding us info as vaguely as possible" and then getting pissy when shit goes wrong trick they pulled over the weekend. Or telling us there will be "consequences" and then doing nothing to elaborate one either.

If what Winter said was true, then even elaborating on the consequences poses a risk.

None of it makes sense, especially if this place was really supposed to be the sort of benevolent camp that they claim it was. It feels like this was planned from the beginning, and those three were always meant to be pawns.

I haven't spoken to Shadows much - but I think they'd be the one doubling down, out of the three. They don't seem like the type to bend the rules.
