He doesn't say anything. Just gives him a Look that says "really? you think ducks have concerns? You're a fool, Ash Carbide." Or something like that, anyway.]

[ he shrugs, and throws a bit of food at the fluffy duckies again. they scrabble around it, little feathers fluffing and beaks snapping. ]

Sure, sometimes Granny Joel or Alex cooks for us. But before Alex came we'd just get takeout mostly.
