If they let us out in the grounds, we might have more luck with an escape route. And figuring out where we are.

That's how I feel. So there has to be a reason we're not allowed out there until next week.

Maybe they're preparing to head off any attempts at escape or identifying our location.

Or the grounds keeper is having a week off. [ according to sources ] Maybe they're just embarrassed by the state of the gardens.

Or they're hiding something. I'm leaning to the latter.

Somehow I don't think Pumpkin-san is that easily embarrassed.
