[ Ash pauses to crane his head around at his own tail, and then back at Akira's. ] Yours doesn't have the puff on the end.

[grabbing a second mug to pour Ash some coffee. also! he is moving on the prosthetic without his crutch! though said crutch is resting against a counter top nearby just in case, and his movements are a bit clunky and awkward. still getting used to a new leg]

[HE'S A PANTHER BUT WHATEVER. he also peers at Ash's tail as he pours the coffee]

[ he's doing some kind of weird twist as he tries to catch a proper look at his tail. it's. weird. ahhhhhhhhhh. also i hate that i genuinely don't know whether zemuria has lions or not, help. ]

That's a pretty sleek lookin' tail for a regular old house cat. [ ... eh. fine. he'll drop himself into a seat, tail flicking up to avoid him just sitting his whole ass down on it, and pulls the coffee towards himself. ]

But mm. Coffee. Ash hooks it and drags it closer to him -- he doesn't take an immediate sip, because he likes not burning his mouth inside out. But once the coffee is secured, he leans forward and runs his thumb over the tip of one of Akira's ear. ]

Are cat ears that rounded? Ones I've seen are usually pointier. [ Or just whatever Celine's ear tips are. ]

[the ear flicks back from Ash's touch, and Akira kind of freezes, because guess who is the first person in the mansion to touch his ears??? THAT'S RIGHT, IT'S ASH]

[ it's cute, let him be. he tries to give them one more little tap, and then his own ears are under attack, and they twitch a couple of times -- surprised and then almost reflexively, and ash scrunches up his nose. ]

[oh. now he's grinning, a slightly impish look in his expression as he continues to poke at Ash's ears]

[ acccck. acccckkk?? ash's ears twitch, and again and then he just straight up goes crosseyed when akira boops his nose, and wriggles it like he's going to sneeze. ]
