...I'm not lecturing you, if that's what you think. But I do think it's smarter to find someone else, anyway. The more of them we find, the more likely we are to learn what's in play if they keep winning.

She's always been that like - thinks no one likes her, even though they trust her with their secrets. She's blind, that way.

So we figure out who we trust to ask, and we go from there.

All while being very insistent that no one trusts her, misses everyone running at her to spill details. No one's pointed that out to her?

She'll just say that trust, in a situation like this, is different from liking someone. And she isn't wrong about that - but she's an idiot sometimes, when it comes to other people.

'Course she is. [ he looks thoughtful. ] I mean. Asking doesn't hurt, and if they say no then that's someone to shove at one of us another time. Akira's got the same kind of crap going on that makes people want to tell him things, so he might have some luck where me, you or Lili don't.

I'm not going to send them to someone who won't reciprocate. Trust is supposed to go both ways.

...But yeah. She's the daughter of a noble, so she was always going to be sheltered. She's grown out of some of it, but the rest still shows.
