this is weird to be watching. he's gone to the theatre a couple of times today -- in the morning, and he'd stuck his head in in the afternoon and now... well. he's just hovering in the doorway, watching the last parts of his previous experiences, stuck in that mansion. ]

He was pretty fast. And mostly controlled by the monster itself.

No, I meant - against what's controlling him. I'm not sure if that was possible, for us.

Not sure how many did. We had the occasional way to cure people of what was infecting them completely - it left them immune to it happening again too, but...

He did pretty good. Shame he couldn’t do that before he killed two people, but still.

They were immune? [ wow... must be nice. ] We could clear the corruption, sometimes, but never for good.

Yeah. We got notes from the dead, telling us the house couldn't infect those people again. We had two immune running around by the end.

Wonder what got brought here. Immunity wouldn't work, but shielding something might.

Deflect a killing blow or something. It'd be useful if someone could actually do that.
