But they aren't necessary, so I'll probably skip the first one. There's not much point in trying when most of the people here seem to want to start a fight just because I happen to be around. It would probably just be a waste of time.

You're a living reminder of a bunch of them manipulating the whole thing and still screwing themselves over in the end. I'm not gonna say rub it in their faces, but don't hide out or anything on their part.

I'm not hiding, but I'm not seeking any of them out, either. I'll work with them to finish the mission here, but I won't stick around with people who dislike me if it isn't necessary.

I mean... I get the prioritising people. We've all done that, consciously or not. But the getting mad part's really ticked me off.

Probably should've been more obvious when no one from that ship was dying, but... eh. Not many people from the mansion died either, in comparison, I can't act like we didn't benefit in some way.

You think? There's a lot of them and if we think about how teams might have been split up, she was one person on one team.

For a while, it looked to me like they were choosing the people we'd be less likely to miss, or get riled up over.

I'm surprised they never picked me, but it's good for Lili that they didn't.

But again, they were weighing up people's lives with their own rules. Bit of a no win situation though, there's always someone who'd miss whoever they killed but we know what the end goal was for four of them, even if they pretend it wasn't.

I know they were trying to help, in the way that they could. If I were in their position, I would have performed it just as well.

[ he is a sword, after all. for all that kara claims to protect, he has always done so by taking the lives of others. that's how he was made. ]

I just hate that they made innocent people take the fall, and they seem to have no regrets about that.
