Yasusada said he thought Magnus killed Shinobu. I thought that maybe the same person who killed Giyuu also killed Shinobu.

If that's true, then they killed two people with roles. By Taako's own admission.

... Did they know for sure they had roles? Or did they just make that up as part of a lie?

If they did then... Minako said they had a "mastermind" on their island. It was the island itself influencing someone to get what it wanted done, and I know we don't have possession or demons here...

But we do have residuals. And if the concept of a "mastermind" is one of them -- [ he shrugs. ]

Or one or both of them has a role themselves that's working against us?

[ there's a pause as he thinks about it. ] Although if you assume they killed Shinobu, and Giyuu, and now that they had a hand in Sanji's death -- [ he holds up one finger with each colour he says: ] Blue, Grey, Purple.

I mean, one or two people can't account for all the other people running around out there. But they didn't target a blue team member -- we're the lowest, right now. And the week Shinobu died, we were doing alright numbers wise.

But we're only more level now because two people from Shadow's team died, and we don't think they were involved with that. Maybe. [ they solved NOTHING of minako and zenitsu's deaths after all, let's be honest. ]

My only working theory is that Magnus or Taako-- or both-- have some kind of role. I just don't know what the nature of it is. To keep our teams even? To eliminate the other roles, like Shinobu and Sanji? I don't. . .

I don't know and I hate that we can't talk about it. . .!

Role, but it's not clear what. And a likelihood one or both of them had a hand in three deaths - Sanji's, Shinobu's and Giyuu's.

Yeah, that's not much. But it's better than fuck all. Think the directors will be able to weight in on some of it?

Doubtful. They can't say anything useful unless it's bad news piled on top of more bad news.

I found out using an item that a friend of mine lent to me. I didn't tell Taako or Magnus, though. . . maybe someone else did?

But the item only said that she had killed Yu, not that she had a role. So. . .

I mean. We're speculating on the role thing too. It could be that the info got back to them, they decided she was fair game, and Giyuu tried to intervene.

Taako sounded so certain when he said that Shinobu had a role, though. I know he was lying about what happened with Sanji and Magnus, but. . .

Or, y'know. Maybe it's something to do with his power, or he has a role himself. Y'know, like the people doing extra work for Blue back in the mansion?
