We're aware of six of the items they've received for winning. One item that removes footprints, one that increases hearing ability, one that removes a curse for fifteen minutes, one that induces nightmares, one that lets them see perfectly in the darkest water for a certain amount of time, and one that lets them borrow someone's non-camp related abilities for one day.

All of them are kinda over the top in their own way. Combine some of them with murder and you've got a huge advantage, but that's kinda the point isn't it? You think it's been members of that team doing all the killings?

That's Lili's theory. I think someone from Shadows definitely killed Yu, but I don't know about Hikage. It's possible.

I guess if someone out there admitted to having a smoke bomb we'd know for sure.

It's not a bad one. They've all got the advantages -- even if they weren't planning to kill someone initially, if someone came after them they've got the means to fight back in a game of kill or be killed.


Yeah, no one's gonna do that out loud right now.

. . . ha. And Belph did say it wasn't outside the realm of possibility for Hikage to have been awake to kill someone himself.

There's just. . . so much we don't know.

Our first case was an accidental killing. I don't think it's impossible to assume one or both of our cases were either the same, or a self-defence.

Or people are being put up to carry out weekly killings. It wouldn't count as possession or anything, but one of the people from the castle said they had people chosen each week to commit murder. Picked a target, and as long as one of them carried it out they completed their "role" -- and both of them would be considered guilty either way, as they both played a part in choosing who to target.

So we might have more than one guilty party on our hands each week.

You're not the first person to bring up that theory. Natalie and Belph did, too.

Those who were chosen were "coerced" into it, but they weren't possessed or corrupted. They were still. . . themselves.

It's very possible we have something like that going on here.

It's not like we brought that serial killer guy with us. And everyone else seems to have peopl willing to vouch for them and their character here so...

Something's probably forcing someone's hand. It seems like the most logical explanation right now, and better than nothing.
