[ to his credit, ash does pause for the moment to look up at the stars — he’s been up here during the day, but this is the first night they’ve had this, so...
yeah. it’s impressive. but after a moment, he looks back down. ]
Not exactly.
[ ... ] Have you used the ouija board in the museum yet?
Spoke to someone through it. A ghost? Said he’d been here previously, and he confirmed the others who died here are somewhere where he is but he didn’t know exactly where.
[ and then he fishes a green triangle with a circle through the middle out of is shirt, dangling on the end of one of his pendant chains. I’m not linking the pic again I’m not that strong. ]
When I looked at him through this, it pretty much showed how he died.
Dunno. This thing does stuff like that. If there’s something wrong with a place, or weird it’ll show you something different.
The doors on the last floor that were locked had a weird blue glow to them. The ones on this floor look kinda... red and like they’re pulsing. When we looked at Cloud through the triangle, it showed how he died. Otherwise he just looked normal.
[ strange... but useful. she's quiet for a moment, considering it. ]
I wonder if you should look at my knife, then. But more importantly... is it possible to use that to locate the monsters? If not before they've transformed, then during the trials, at least?
Haven’t checked then since, but given they were locked at some point... I’ll add that to my to do list.
[ with a nod, he lifts the lil’ triangle to his eye, and looks at the knife........
.... ]
It just looks like a regular ol’ knife to me. And no one alive I’ve looked at through this thing has given off a weird aura so far. That’d probably be too easy.
That's a shame, but not unexpected. [ she sighs. ] There must be some way of finding them before it happens. If there's an antidote, then they had to have found the cause, right?
That depends on whether you take them at their word. There are those that believe they're being intimidated, or that they're such fervent followers that they'll believe whatever Master Blue says.
[ but... well. does it matter, if they can't confirm that one way or another? ]
But a working antidote means that someone found the root cause of it, and found a way to undo it. If we could find anything more about it, anything at all, we could at least try to recreate it until we find a way of stopping it altogether.

[ she can guess what it is, since there's only one thing they can touch in the museum. but it's purpose...? ]
Why?

[ it makes her wonder, though... ]
But why would you need to see how he died? What good does that do? Unless it gave you some kind of new information about this place.
